About this School Project (Tints and Patterns)
Adding white paint to colored paint makes a TINT. Students were asked to make a tint for the background (also called negative space) around their drawn circles. They filled in the circles with invented paint colors created by mixing any colors they wanted. When the paint was dry, they added line PATTERNS to their pictures using oil pastels. Each picture shows much experimentation and imagination!
