About this School Project (2nd - Chinese Brush Painting)
Students learned the art of Chinese Brush Painting. Class 1 we looked at brush paintings and talked about their similarities and how they used very few strokes to create the picture. We learned how to hold the brush and set up our work area then practiced making bamboo stalks using the side of the brush. Each class after we did a different animal. We made pandas, crickets, and cranes.
