About this School Project (Lion's Crazy Hair Day)
First and second grades got to try an exercise I usually reserve for older students: drawing an upside-down image. We started with a lioness in pencil...this is a very challenging exercise! After all their hard focus, they traced their line drawing in Sharpie, then relaxed and added their own crazy mane. The mane was to include lots of pattern and line. Those who had enough time added watercolor accents. Compliment these creative artists!
