Artist Statement (what Hudson10835 said about their artwork)
Shortcake is my subject mattter.I personally enjoy shortcake is the reason why I picked it.I connected the cakes in my painting to make it look like there behind each other with SPACE.I used COLOR that can be found everywhere in the art work.I used SHAPE that can be found at the shortcakes.I also used LINES which you can see at the cakes too.I used BALANCE witn the cakes being a-symetrical.I also used VALUE with the different sides of the cakes.The most challenging thing that happened with my art work is finding and mixing the right color to find the shadow core and midtones.My most proud of thing thats in my art work is the colors I picked too paint it.
