About this School Project (Lenten Art Project)
Students will select three different small watercolor paper (they can choose between circle, square or rectangle). Using watercolor paints the students will paint these to be the background.
Next, they will discuss what they could be spending time in PRAYER over for Lent, then we will discuss what you might GIVE UP for Lent and lastly what you might be willing to :GIVE AWAY during Lent. Then they will illistrate each of their ideas on the three different watercolor papers. These will be colored in using color pencil if the student would like otherwise they illistration can just be outlined in Sharpie and left as is.
Next the watercolor papers will be glued to a black construction paper background and lastly using white ink they will write a caption for each of their illistrations.
