About this School Project (Fiber Art Center)
In the fiber art center, artists explore string art, sewing, embroidery, weaving, fashion design, and jewelry design. Kindergarten through third-grade artists learn new techniques and ways of sewing and weaving each year, then have the choice to continue exploring these ideas in the fiber art center through-out the year. Fourth through sixth-grade artists have the choice to use this center and expand upon the skills they have learned in prior years by creating fiber pieces of their choice.
