About this School Project (3rd Flowers Prints)
Students studied the work of artist Andy Warhol and explored the theme of Pop Art. They learned how both Warhol’s art and contemporary popular art are often mass-produced and created affordably. Following this, students practiced using brayers, ink, and gel printing plates (gelli pads) to produce their own positive and negative flower prints. These prints were then combined with neon-colored paper and outlined with puffy paint to complete their artwork.
