About this School Project (Op Art Zebra)
Victor Vasarely was an Optical Illusianist of Modern Art. He did a series of paintings that included zebra with their black and white stripes. Other paintings included bending lines that tricked the viewer's eyes. Second graders used lines in this artwork as Vasarely did, painting zebra stripes then rearranging geometric cuts into the head of the animal. The background included bent lines to simulate spheres under cover.
