About this School Project (Neon Matisse Goldfish)
Kindergarten students were introduced to Henri Matisse, and even learned a bit of French!! After watching a video about his life and work, we discussed his painting called, "The Goldfish". We talked about what we saw, the colors and shapes we could find too. Then we drew our own! The next class, students were able to use Mr. Sketch markers and tempera paint to paint their goldfish paintings. This year we used neon paint so that they would glow in our glow show during Night of the Arts!
