Artist Statement (what Sadie9158 said about their artwork)
The object I chose to paint is a volleyball because I like playing volleyball and the sport I play is volleyball. My favorite part of making this project was outlining my volleyball because it was fun to practice all angles and see it come together. My least favorite part of making this project was painting because I messed up a lot of the time and I chose weird colors. If I could make this project again, I would change the color because it looks plain and blends into each other. The paint we used is called tempera paint and I would describe it as a water based paint but later turns chalky when its dry. I learned many tricks about keeping paint brushes safe and healthy. One trick is to brush the paint brush on the bottom of the water cup and then let it sit in the water to avoid paint drying.
