About this School Project (7th-AM & PM Ted Harrison Inspired Landscape)
Ted Harrison was one of Canada’s favorite painters. He was born in England in 1926 but immigrated to Canada’s Yukon in the 1950’s. He recently died in 2015.
His vibrant paintings of the people and the landscape of the Yukon Territories has brought Harrison many fans. Harrison uses vibrant colors and wavy lines to depict different features of the Yukon landscape. In art class, students created a landscape watercolor painting in the style of Ted Harrison. The students' landscapes are stunning!
