About this School Project (6th Grade Paper Mache Creatures)
Students created sculptures of "Creatures"-something fantasy/imaginary. They used newspaper, cardboard, oak tag paper, cardboard tubes and tape to build the armature, and then paper mache was layered over the armature to strengthen and harden it. Once the sculptures dried, acrylic paints were used for color, and other materials were used for extra detail.
