About this School Project (Jim Dine Heart)
Second graders explored the famous Pop Art artist, Jim Dine with this February themed project. We first looked at some of his work and noted the colorful backgrounds and 3d look of the objects. We then layered bleeding tissue paper and water to create our colorful backgrounds. Next, we added and colored in our heart shape with paint sticks, and used black and white chalk pastels to add highlight and shading!
