About this School Project (Grade 5- Clay Animals )
Students viewed images of large horse sculptures created by contemporary American artist Deborah Butterfield. Fifth graders developed their own animal sculptures displaying subtle movement in clay. Once fired they painted the surfaces with acrylic paints.
