About this School Project (Circular Weaving)
We read the book "The Spider Weaver" by Margaret Musgrove and learned about how you can weave yarn to create fabric. The students painted a thick paper plate, and when it was dry they created a circular loom out of it by cutting notches along the edge. They used yarn to create the warp threads on the loom, and then chose different colored weft threads to create their weaving.
