About this School Project (Sea of Fog)
After studying the Renaissance and Romantic eras in art, we created our own sea of fog after seeing our inspiration piece, called The Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog, by Caspar David Friedrich, painted in 1818. We created our piece by using chalk pastels and paint to create a foggy landscape and we traced our person and colored him/her with colored pencil before gluing our rocks and person to our foggy landscape background.
