About this School Project (5-Wow City)
Fifth graders used the cover illustration for Robert Neubecker's "Wow City" as inspiration for these colorful perspective drawings. Students followed step-by-step directions to draw a city in one-point perspective. Unique building shapes and details were encouraged to make each building different. The sky was carefully painted with watercolor, creating a colorful contrast to the black and white buildings.
