Artist Statement (what Madison48681 said about their artwork)
My favorite part of this art is the orange and yellow planet. My least favorite is where the paint flows off because the paper was not flat and was tilted. My inspiration was that I liked the colors and thought it would look nice together. I would lay the panting on a flat surface and add more black. It would just look better with more black and the paint wouldn't shift with it laying flat. I learned how salt could be used to create a different look with the water. The only,y thing that surprised me was how chalky the pastels were. I first set the paper a lot and then I added some colors and kept layering colors until it look nice. Then I put some salt on the water to get the salt effect. Then I made some circles with pastels and glued it on the paining after I scraped the salt off.
