About this School Project (Dragon Eye)
Students learned about the principle of art emphasis. Emphasis is used to help the viewers know where to look first when they look at a piece of art. They also learned about complementary colors. Complementary colors are colors that are on opposite sides of the color wheel. Students drew dragon eyes with a pair of complementary colors to create emphasis on the eye.
