About this School Project (Dali Animals)
Fourth grade artists learned about the famous Spanish surrealist painter, Salvador Dali. They looked at his dreamlike and often strange compositions and were inspired by his 1948 painting of elephants. Chalk pastels were used to create a dreamy, blended background for their imaginative creatures.
