About this School Project (Basquiat Dino)
Students discussed what happens when we mix primary colors together to make secondary colors. We then looked at some of the artwork of Basquiat. Each student tore up a printed newspaper and glue it to a blank paper. They then picked two primary colors to mix on their paper to create a secondary color. As a class, we painted a dinosaur and let it dry. We then went over it with oil pastels in the style of Basquiat.
