Artist Statement (what Giuseppe284 said about their artwork)
The benefits of this is you are not wasting materials. Also if you make a mistake you can move it towards having to take the piece and restart. A negative is that you don't know if the project is the right size. Another negative is that you don't have a lot of room. It is important because you need to make sure everything fits in its spot.
