Artist Statement (what CHEYENNE7709 said about their artwork)
My sculpture is abstract because it is a thing. It's a mushroom guy named fungi. I chose to make this sculpture because I like mushrooms and I wanted it to be different than a real mushroom so I made it a little mushroom guy. I chosen these colors for my sculpture because I like the colors of the traditional mushrooms. I built my sculpture with a plastic lid, card board, hot glue, and news paper. I used plaster on my mushroom by dipping the plaster in water and smoothing it on my sculpture.
