About this School Project (4 - Giant Slice Sculptures)
Fourth grade artists learned how to create a three-dimensional sculpture, using recycled armatures and papier-mache techniques. They learned about the artist, Peter Anton, who makes larger than life sculptures of food, both sweet and savory. Anton lives and works in Connecticut, but his art can be found all over the world. Fourth graders used a variety of materials to construct their own larger than life sculptures, before adding color with acrylic paints.
