About this School Project (4th Grade: Cubism inspired Self-Portriat)
Students were introduced to Cubism and looked at some of Pablo Picasso's portraits to see how Cubism allows the artist to show details from more than one point of view. For their self portraits, students drew some details facing forward and some details in profile view. Students were also introduced to the idea of emotions of colors and students were challenged to choose colors that represent the emotions that they drew for their self portrait.
