About this School Project (Migrant Figures)
Studying the figures in Jacob Lawerence’s Great Migration series, students built a wire armature depicting a figure in motion, and then applied cell-u-clay to sculpt a migrant figure. In a simplistic style, students selected colors seen in Jacob Lawerence’s The Great Migration series, painting with acrylic paints.
