About this School Project (Architecture)
Students who work in architecture explore building structures through blocks, Magna Tiles, Lincoln Logs, K'nex, magnets and other building materials. They can work individually or cooperatively with the materials, usually finding a rug spot or white board to work on. These structures are typically temporary and are photographed by the students before taking them apart. Sometimes building leads students into kinetic sculpture by making parts of their structures move. They may knock materials over or use plastic balls to create movement.
