I used 6b, 4b, hb, 4h, 6h, the items are daily items I use everyday, I think I did fine and the items are true to size, and yes there was different graphite pencil. I would change the placement of the glasses or cologne because the shadow overlapped.
About this School Project (r1 Graphite)
We've been working on observational drawing, line meaning and the art process. Please pick 3-4 items to represent yourself as a still life. You can bring in the items for observational drawing and or take several photos for reference. If the items are too big or impossible to bring to school/photos are acceptable.
These items should represent who you are on a daily basis. They can be symbolic, utilitarian or just plain fun.
We will practice and make at least three thumbnail sketches before we begin the final.
Final work will have at least 4 different values -
How to use/find? Look for shadows, highlights, and grey scales - USE YOUR Value scale
Will have whole paper composition
Will have at least 2 different types of graphite pencils.
Hemos estado trabajando en el dibujo observacional, el significado de las líneas y el proceso artístico. Elija de 3 a 4 elementos para representarse a sí mismo como una naturaleza muerta. Puede traer los elementos para realizar dibujos de observación o tomar varias fotografías como referencia. Si los artículos son demasiado grandes o imposibles de traer a la escuela/las fotografías son aceptables.
