Artist Statement (what Carolina2720 said about their artwork)
Pattern we I learned all this from Mrs. Arem. She is very nice and she teaches lots of things with. I also really like the way that they it is actually my favorite thing to do and I really love making art and I also love blah blah, but I mostly like singing and doing art so I learned all of this era and I have a really good voice from Mr. combo because he really helps me with my singing because I. And now I get to learn how to become a really good singer she's she makes my day sometimes and she really does and it's a good thing that she she always teaches us different things because if we keep doing the same thing over and over again well we'll not learn anything else in the combo. He teaches us different things too, which we've never learned in a long time. I've never learned anything from them like that, but it's really nice to have a friend like them. They're very nice. I love the way that she helps us with our problems and one time somebody had a broken wing on their thing and she helped them. It was very sweet of her and he just worked it out so yeah so yeah that's all that happened really
About this School Project (1st Grade Patterned Paper Weavings)
First graders learn all about pattern in this lesson! First, they use paint sticks to create a pattern on their paper, then they fold their paper in half and cut along the lines to transform their paper into a loom. Once their loom is ready, they learn the weaving pattern (under, over, under, over) and set to work weaving in a pattern of paper strips. To finish it all off, they slide a few more strips under the ones already woven in.
