About this School Project (Origami Challenge SCULPTURE)
CHALLENGE 1- 3 FIGURE SCENE
Requirements
Create a scene using origami and other paper folding/ paper cutting techniques
There must be a minimum of 3 origami figures within your scene with supporting folded paper or cut paper to support your background.
Use newsprint to practice your shapes and figures, once your general composition is approved (figures created with a sketch for your final layout) - use white paper + color paper for your final Figures and shapes that will be set on a black background base.
During your assessment you will need to write a paragraph about what is going on in your scene. How was your experience building this sculpture, did you like or dislike creating the sculpture, what issues came up when creating your sculpture and how did you resolve those issues.
OPTION 2- REPEATING PIECES CHALLENGE
Requirements
Using 25 sheets of paper fold the same origami pattern - You may use various sized paper but the steps for folding must be the same for each piece. Glue your structure together
Use newsprint to practice your shapes and figures, once your general composition is approved (figures created with a sketch for your final layout) - use white paper + color paper for your final Figures and shapes that will be set on a black background base.
