About this School Project (Collagraph Prints and Altered Prints)
Students created their Collagraph Prints first through drawing a self-portrait with accurate proportions of the face. Next, students manipulated their drawings by gluing and pasting separate features of their face in layers to create a plate for printing. Each student printed a series of three prints from their original Collagraph plate. Some prints that we labeled our “duds” were later embellished and brought back to life with fun new alterations!
