About this School Project (Concentric Hearts)
Students learned about Wassily Kandinsky and looked at examples of his work. We focused on the artwork, "Concentric Circles" and students were given three sizes of heart templates. They traced their hearts and ended up with 27 different colors/sizes that they assembled with the largest on the bottom and the smallest on the top. Lastly, they glued each set of hearts onto a different color of paper and assembled the 9 panels onto a square sheet of paper.
