About this School Project (Keith Haring Figure Drawing)
After listening to the story "Keith Haring: The Boy who Kept Drawing", second grade students practiced observational figure drawing by modeling for their classmates. Students had to identify commonalities in Keith Haring's style, and utilize them appropriately in their composition.

· Create figural subjects using basic shapes
· Explore the use of color to represent a subject
· Convey expression and movement through the use of line and shape
