About this School Project (Matisse Cutouts)
Students learned about the artist Henri Matisse and how he, "painted with scissors". Students created artwork focusing on color, shape, and positive/negative shapes. They used scrap paper in the classroom to develop their designs and demonstrate the elements & principles in the lesson.
