About this School Project (Tim Burton Snowmen: Grade 4)
Students learned about Tim Burton as an animator and artist. We discussed the features common in his characters before drawing our own version of a Tim Burton Snowman. Students focused on contour lines, shading and blending to add contrast and depth to their drawing as well. Students added highlights and darker value when appropriate. Students learned about shadows and shading of the edges and focused on highlights in the center of the form.
