About this School Project (K - “O” is for oval; party animals)
The students learned about the contemporary artist Jeff Koons, who makes giant sculptures that look like balloon dogs. They had to use ovals to draw their balloon dog and traced them with black sharpie. They chose a color for their dog and added watercolor pencil to each oval and brushed over it with water to create a lighter color inside. For the background, they added “confetti” using crayons to draw the various types of lines they learned about earlier in the year. We hope you can celebrate the New Year with these party animals!
