About this School Project (Hilma Af Klint Abstractions)
First grade students learned about the first abstract painter, Hilma Af Klint, and created a painting inspired by her work. Students analyzed and discussed what they thought her abstractions reminded them of, similar to finding images in the clouds. Using water-soluable pastels, artists set to work to complete their composition, paying attention not to leave any blank areas.
