About this School Project (K: Alphabet Soup!)
Kindergarteners practiced their alphabet skills by singing and writing the letters of the alphabet inside a circle to represent alphabet noodles! They made sure to turn their paper each time they drew a letter to make some look upside down, sideways, or even backward! We painted orange on top of the letters to resemble the tomato soup. We also learned about making patterns with colors for our placemat backgrounds. Students picked colors to draw their plaid backgrounds. They used charcoal to make shadows on their bowl and napkin. Lastly, we glued on plastic silver spoons to add a 3D effect!
