Artist Statement (what James46245 said about their artwork)
What I loved about this project was when we cut out the colorful paper. What was difficult was when I had to glue the black paper because we had to match the paper.
About this School Project (Color Wheel)
Students learned about the Color Wheel and how it is often used in art. They were challenged to create their own color wheel by using only the Primary Colors. They first had to create the paint swatches. Then, they decided on an image that would then create their wheel. That image was cut out of each paint swatch and then arranged on a background paper. Students could even take this a step further by adding details to the images and/or by adding an additional piece to the center of their color wheel.
