About this School Project (2nd Van Gogh's Starry Night)
Second graders studied Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night. They then recreated the painting with oil pastels. Students showed background, middleground, and foreground in their pictures. Students used short strokes when coloring to show texture and movement and glued tabs under certain details to show relief. (raised above the background)
