About this School Project (Mixed Media Animals: Grade 5 (copy))
Students made painted paper using paint sticks. Then students used oil pastels to create eyes for their animal or bird of prey. Finally students tore the painted painted paper for fur while overlapping each piece radiating from the center. Then students used a fan brush to create fur or feathers and added more black and white details near the eyes, nose and mouth.
