Artist Statement (what Sophia42487 said about their artwork)
1. My inspiration for this artwork was my love for the ocean along with the animals that live in it.
2. My favorite part of this artwork is all of the stingrays. I love them because each of them are unique and have a different size and or shape. It reminds me of a mom with her little children.
3. My least favorite part of the artwork is the blending job for my background.
4. I would change the top right corner of my artwork because I feel like the blending it doesn't flow as well with the rest of the background.
5. Some concepts I learned was how to do a grisaille painting with acrylic paint, as well as how to do a sfumato while creating my artwork.
About this School Project (Value Painting Studio Art - Gilman)
Acrylic black and white painting with 7+ grays from original student photo reference. This is the Semester 1 Final for Studio Art.
