Artist Statement (what Gabriel32723 said about their artwork)
One reason I chose my first print is because I wanted to express nature's feeling so I thought I would use bizarre colors for a raven. A reason I chose my second print is because I love the beach, so I decided to express myself by using a beach setting but I wanted it to be unique,so I changed the colors.
About this School Project (A Chance Print)
Students in 4th grade used Gelli Printing to explore layered monoprinting. After analyzing and exploring the work of contemporary printmaker Delita Martin, artists used tools like brayers, stencils, and natural materials to create their works. Student artists selected their favorites and prepared them for display.
