About this School Project (4th Grade Winter Trees)
4th grade learned how to draw and paint a winter tree with several branches. Careful observation of their own work was required to make sure they created a realistic tree that had branches that got smaller as they got further away from the trunk. They learned to use varying pressure while using a paint brush to achieve thick to thin lines of paint. They thought about how and where snow collects on trees and added some white snow to their painting.
