Artist Statement (what Guinevere232 said about their artwork)
This artwork was created in honor of the Great Wave of Hokusai, I used many different lines for this. It looks partially surreal like, there are different patterns everywhere, and there are a couple of brightly colored boats. I tried to make it as realistic as possible, when drawing it, and then I went over all the lines with differently colored sharpies. My materials were paper, and a lot of different colored sharpies. In the beginning I was making the last supper but with the Simpsons but instead, I decided to do this.
