About this School Project (Clay House Candle Holder)
The students learned the basics of hand building with clay as well as understanding principles of Balance and Form. Staring with a drawing of a house on graph paper, the students used their drawing as a template to cut their clay slabs. Then the slabs were assembled to create a free-standing 3D house. The houses were painted white, and a flameless candle was added to illuminate the windows.
