About this School Project (1st Grade Hot Chocolate Collages)
Students created two different patterned papers for their background: texture rubbings for the “wall”, and a checkered pattern using oil pastels for the table cloth. Students then brushed over their designs with watercolor to create a resist.
Students practiced drawing a 3D form for their mug and chose their best design to add pattern and hot chocolate!
