About this School Project (Animals in Sweaters)
Students learn about the art and craft of weaving. This traditional artform has impacted every culture throughout time. Students also engage in discussion about how functional items (like clothing, pillows, rugs, and blankets) can still be considered art. Students use their new knowledge to create an animal shaped loom with a sweater to keep them warm.
