About this School Project (2 - James Rizzi Cityscape)
Second graders learned about the fun, colorful work of James Rizzi. They loved his cartoon-like style and couldn't wait to try their hand at drawing in his style. Each student drew a border around their paper to create a "frame" and then added a cityscape with lots of overlapping buildings. Each building was decorated with unique windows, door, and faces. To personalize their work kids added a road, cars, and people or pets. Brightly colored markers were used to color the image in completely.
