About this School Project (Leaf Prints - 1)
First grade got to use their paint materials in a new way for this project! Together we learned about the art of splatter painting. We had a lot of fun using our brushes and lightly flicking paint on our papers to fill it with colors. But the fun didn't stop there! Next we learned about printmaking and transferring images onto our artwork. We went outside and collected all the leaves we could find. We looked for leaves that were different sizes and different shapes to make our artwork more interesting. When we brought the leaves inside we painted them black and printed them onto our paper!
